Our intention for those students who will be accessing learning in school is to ensure that as many classes as possible run as normal, however, we may have to apply some flexibility dependant on staffing levels on the day.
Students accessing learning from home on strike days will utilise online learning resources or learning set by their teacher. Please direct your child to their Teams account on the day where further information will be available.
Alternatively, if work is unavailable on Teams, students in Key Stage 3 (years 7 and 8) and students in Key Stage 4 (Years 9 and 10) can access ‘Online Subject Resources’ on the school website under ‘A Place of Learning’. ‘Online Subject Resources’ are found in the drop-down menu and they contain links to relevant websites to enhance learning on current units of study being undertaken in lessons.
Students in Key stage 3 and 4 can also access the free online educational websites stated below:
Oak National Academy https://classroom.thenational.academy/

The website has been designed to be easy to use and is accessible on most devices, including laptops, tablets and mobiles. There are no sign-ups or logins required. Students simply need to use the link above to access the subjects that they would typically have tomorrow and then select their Key Stage (Year 7 & 8 - Key Stage 3, Year 9, 10 and 11 - Key Stage 4).
BBC Bitesize https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize
