Remembrance Service

The School community took time out today to remember as we marked Armistice Day.

In our Chapel pupils from Scouts, Explorers, Guides, Air , Army and Police Cadets, were joined by the junior choir to hold a Service of Remembrance. Our guest of honour was Colonel Tony Tait who laid the wreath remembering the fallen.

At 11am all around the school we paused our lessons to stand and mark the two-minute silence. The Last Post was then sounded by brass players stationed around the school.

We pay our respects to those who made the ultimate sacrifice and pray for places in conflict, that peace will reign again.
