School Clubs & Activities...

The school has extensive sporting facilities.  These consist of 4 netball courts, 3 soccer pitches, 4 floodlit tennis courts, a mini hockey pitch, an artificial cricket strip, a long jump pit, a gym and a large sports hall.  The facilities are used by both the pupils and the local community.  The Sports Hall is let out to Clubs and Societies for a wide variety of sports including aerobics and dance, gym, table tennis and soccer.  St George’s Archery Club has use of the playing fields at weekends.

Sport is a popular activity within the school and often both boys and girls go on to represent the area, county or even national teams in various sports.  Ski trips are arranged and focus on a particular year group.  Sports Tours for both netball and cultures.
